Davies Boxing Gym is a professional boxing gym and fitness centre based in Blackpool, Lancashire. It is owned and run by father and son duo Ryan Davies (professional boxer) and Mark Davies (professional boxing trainer) and aims to offer a top quality boxing and fitness experience, through state of the art facilities and the highest standard of training and instruction.

Opened in November 2015, Davies Boxing Gym offers boxing and physical training for all skills and fitness levels in a warm and friendly environment bringing the extensive boxing, fitness and personal training experiences of Ryan and Mark to their own private gym facility.

Whether you are a beginner, novice, someone looking to compete or just looking to get in shape, our facility has everything you need. Personal 1-to-1 training, boxing tuition, private group sessions and various open classes and sessions are available 7 days a week to cater for any boxing or fitness need.

Davies Boxing Gym is not just about boxing, it is focussed on providing a complete health and fitness service to all clients to live and maintain a healthy lifestyle. We strive to ensure you get the best results, through workouts at the facility, outside of the facility and also nutrition, diet and supplements.

Everyone is different and therefore each training programme will need to be tailored based on the individual and their goals. All clients are provided with bespoke training and diet plans, to help away from the sessions and to assist in meeting your personal goals, creating an entire health and fitness programme designed around you. An individualised program can improve your overall conditioning and develop the specific skills you need.

Located at our new facility at Unit 1, Mitcham Road, Blackpool, FY4 4QN – near the M55 and just over 300 yards away from the old premises – the gym is easy to find and dedicated parking is available for all clients.

Our current class timetable is as follows:

Metafit – Monday 7:15pm till 7:45pm
Metafit is a HIIT workout for men and women that combines traditional bodyweight exercises with the latest interval and Tabata techniques to set the metabolism on fire! £3.50 per class.

Over 50s Boxing – Monday 8pm till 9pm
Suitable for men and women, this session is fast-paced and immersive and designed to make you feel younger, healthier and even improve your physical ability!

Adult Fitness Class – Tuesday 6pm till 7pm
The adult fitness class is suitable for all ages and fitness levels and uses the same training and fitness techniques as used by professional boxers, which vary between sessions.

Adult Boxing Class – Wednesday 6pm till 7pm
The adult boxing class is more boxing orientated than the Tuesday night session, which also incorporates fitness work, but also includes bag and technique work to develop skills.

Adult Boxing Class – Thursday 6pm till 7pm
The adult boxing class is more boxing orientated than the Tuesday night session, which also incorporates fitness work, but also includes bag and technique work to develop skills.

Metafit with Abs Blast – Thursday 7:15pm till 8pm
This brand new Metafit class is for both men and women and features a 25 minute HIIT body-weight workout followed by a 15 minute Abs Blast to finish. £4.50 per class.

Adult Fitness Class – Friday 6pm till 7pm
The adult fitness class is suitable for all ages and fitness levels and uses the same training and fitness techniques as used by professional boxers, which vary between sessions.

Kid’s Developmental Boxing – Saturday 9am till 10am
The kids development boxing class offers contemporary boxing and fitness training for children aged 6 to 14, teaching the basics to develop their boxing abilities.

Kid’s Developmental Boxing – Sunday 9am till 10am
The kids development boxing class offers contemporary boxing and fitness training for children aged 6 to 14, teaching the basics to develop their boxing abilities.

All one hour classes are £5 per person, per class – unless otherwise stated. Upfront monthly deals are available upon request.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, your attendance at these classes will need to be pre-booked via the contact form below or direct message to either our Facebook page. Once the spaces have been filled, unfortunately, we will not be able to exceed them.

Classes are open to all and we encourage anyone to try them out in the friendly surroundings of Davies Boxing Gym.
