Blackpool middleweight RP Davies has a new opponent at the Winter Gardens in his home town on Saturday.
Davies now meets Lewis van Poetsch, of Lydney in Gloucestershire, who takes the place of Duane Green.
Green sustained a cut in his last fight against Nicki Smedley on November 28.
Of the switch of opponents, Davies said: “This doesn’t really change anything. I am still expecting a very hard fight and will have to perform.”
“He is a tough lad, who has mixed it at a high level and will be another tricky test. I just try to focus on what I do during my camps, in training and sparring, and ensuring I put in a performance on the night.”
“I had my last spar on Saturday with Adam Little and this week is just about ensuring I am ready for fight night.”
